What on earth?
[Private to Slytherins] Someone saw me with a book on truth serums, I didn't think it would be safe enough for me to help raid Professor Snape's office. Glad it went to plan.

[Viewable to Slytherin students only]
Hufflepuff Common Room plan as it is at the moment: Either... Pick a fight with the Hufflepuffs, in particular Smith and Bones. (Theo, Millie- perhaps you two could do this?) I go and find Professor Snape and tell him that Smith and Bones started a fight over some money Bones owed me (perhaps accuse them of trying to steal my money?) Make sure when Snape arrives that it's only the Hufflepuffs who are fighting- we don't want to lose points. Sally-Ann then sneaks into Snape's office (I know this is risky but it's the only way we could think of) and hopefully will find a variant of the Veritaserum potion (one that works by touch). Pansy acts as alibi for Sally-Ann. Sally-Ann and I sneak into Hufflepuff common room (there can't be too many of us there as we'll be too obvious) either early in the morning or at night. Again risky but how else will we manage it?
Or
Sally-Ann might know of a place we can order the Veritaserum from. Then we can skip the Professor Snape business. (Which obviously would be preferable).
If all goes to plan then the Huffles will have an embarrassing day ahead of them.
It's not perfect, but we're Slytherins- we'll manage it. Easily. [/Slytherins]
Zacharias Smith has been trying to pick a fight with me since my run in with Bones (or to be exact, Bones’ run into me).

[Students Only] Sally-Ann mentioned a sleepover tonight. I don't know if I'll go but I'm interested to hear what happened if I'm not there. Everybody needs a little gossip.
I haven't been up to much recently (and judging by all the journals I've seen here, I'm rather in the minority). Mostly just homework (there's an Arithmancy essay on Salazar Slytherin- fun).
I was reading those comment things (I think I've got the hang of them now) and Thanatos Montague mentioned something about teachers reading the journals and taking off points? What happened to, ah- there's a phrase for it, freedom of speech? And taking point off for what's said in a personal journal? Ridiculous.

The common room is so full of people using these Muggle things- I felt I had to join in. Everyone's been talking about this site (is that what they're called? I saw that mentioned on the screen somewhere) too- it seems quite interesting really, although quite unnecessary: who's interested in the life of a Gryffindor? Gryffindors aside, hopefully this won't be a waste of time; there do seem to be some good things to do on here. I'm surprised there are so many fellow Slytherins though- I suppose there's enough magic in these to make them more magic than Muggle. For those unobservant of you (this is for the benefit of most of the Hufflepuffs- I wonder if they even know the names of their housemates- and the Gryffindors who are too self centred to notice other people) I’m Daphne Greengrass: Slytherin.
